Why the Suggested Nutritional Supplements

The evaluation of which supplements and or diet nutritionals I recommend are based on DNA and the percentage of the population’s variation in specific genes used to metabolize nutrients.

I have listed below the percentages of variation in these genes within the population.

Being able to also review several Nutritional DNA Test results have confirmed the observation.

The first example below is regarding vitamin B. There are for pathways for vitamin B to be metabolized. Some people do not have all four pathways however. It is not uncommon to see one pathway missing.

Looking at the vitamin B pathway alone, it is no wonder many of us do not feel any different after we take a vitamin B supplement, it is not going to work for us. It can't make it through the metabolic pathway.

Getting vitamin B into the body from within, by using foods that turn into vitamin B is the only option for a high percentage.

The same holds true for the last gene mentioned in the chart for insulin. 94% of the population have a variation in that gene. It is now not a wonder why such a large percentage of the population has a problem with diabetes.

There is a way around the problem of variation in our genes if we eat the right foods that have the right nutrients.

I will be posting a balanced nutrient profile on this site very soon. I will be using the percentages of the population with various gene variations and recommending what specific nutrients one can use to bypass the probable gene variation.

To bypass or get around having a variation in the genes that metabolize vitamin B you need to introduce "Plant Based Nutrition."

An Organic Barley or an organic Kamut will provide the nutrients and enzymes necessary for your body to produce vitamin B6 and B12 in abundance. Notice I state "your body." I do mean your body will take the nutrients and turn them into the B vitamins necessary. This is the only way over 50% of the population can actually metabolize B6 and B12. As you see, the population at large is unlikely to be able to metabolize vitamin B. 3 of 4 genes have a very high non-functioning condition in a high percentage of people.
There are 2 genes that regulate antioxidant activity for heart health. 1 - 20 -50% variation
2 - 3% variation
 
A low enough percentage of the population has variations in these genes to not warrant aggressive change.
There are 3 genes that regulate antioxidant activity regarding detoxification 1 - 50% variation
2 - 15% variation
3 - 59% variation
If a person wants to detoxify their body or simply living on planet earth, a high percentage of the population will not be able to remove toxins from their body due to variations found in these 3 genes. Something will need to be added to assist the detoxification process. Especially in phase II of the livers detoxification process.
There is 1 gene that regulates heart health, inflammation and bone health. 1 - 68-82% variation It is vital with the high percentage of the population having a variation of this gene that all people supplement and or include the correct nutrients to override this gene variation.
There are 4 genes that regulate heart health directly. 1 - 26% variation
2 - 33% variation
3 - 81% variation
4 - 54% variation
The percentages are low enough in 2 of the genes but higher then comfortable in the other 2 genes. Include a diet or nutrients that will satisfy and assist the gene variation is vital.
There is 1 gene that regulates heart health and insulin sensitivity. 1 - 36% variation Low enough percentage wise and can be addressed with other recommendations.
There is 1 gene that regulates bone health and insulin sensitivity. 1 - 15-22% variation Low enough percentage wise and can be addressed with other recommendations.
There is 1 gene that directly regulates bone health. 1 - 10% variation Low enough percentage wise and can be addressed with other recommendations.
There is 1 gene that regulates inflammation and bone health. 1 - 6-43% variation Low enough percentage wise and can be addressed with other recommendations.
There is 1 gene that regulates insulin sensitivity. 1 - 94% variation With this being only 1 gene and the percentage of variation being 94%, it needs to be addressed by all.

 The information above is what my recommendations are based on when I recommend nutritional supplements or food nutrients.

Example: Knowing the high percentage of the population can't metabolize vitamin B and knowing a high percentage of vitamin B that can be purchased at vitamin stores do not even have the vitamin B inside stated on the package, leads me to recommend nutritional foods that are verified as to their content. This holds true for the other supplements and nutritionals as well.

Putting the right nutrients in the body that will make other body parts work is ideal. Being able to have the body manufacture its own vitamins/minerals and amino acids as well as enzymes is vital for longer term health.
