SSRI Stories Page 5 OMG!!! this drug is totally irritating. i have been on Lexapro for a little over six months and i have been suffering from terrible migraines, fatigue, and i have gained like 15 lbs.!!!!! i was in 20 mg of this and 300 mg of Wellbutrin. i stopped cold turkey because i was suffering from panic attacks. my boyfriend even had to give me mouth to mouth. i stopped breathing for 2 minuteS!! these drugs are not the way to feel better, after not taking my meds for a week, i actually feel better, and i am happier, surprisingly. all i have to say is seriously think about what you are doing before going on these drugs. they change who you are and i believe they make you worse!!! and talk about a low sex drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been taking Lexapro for about a 1.5 years. I gained 15 pounds. I have never in my life been this heavy. I have never been so tired, cranky and had so many mood swings. I have tired to get off of it and fail because of the dizziness, violent mood swings, diarrhea, headaches and sobbing. I just don't know what to do. I am so much worse now that I was even before I started taking the drug.
