SSRI Stories Page 3 In the first two weeks i have experienced drowsiness, itching, sneezing, runny nose, diarrhea, blurred vision, headaches, decreased sex drive, and decrease in appetite. I haven't noticed much change in my depression lately, but I'm hoping it subsides soon. I'm going to give it another 2 weeks and if nothing changes, i plan to taper off of this. I am currently taking 10mg. I just began taking Lexapro today, about 6 hours ago. I went in
to my doctor to complain about insomnia and she put me on Lexapro to relieve the
anxiety I have that keeps me up at night. I've been on Paxil before and had a
HORRIBLE experience of tremors and teeth grinding that took a week to get rid of
after only 5 days on the medication, so I felt good about Lexapro when my doctor
said all her patients have raved about it. Two hours after the first pill i got
a terrible bout of nausea then passed out in a dizzy haze. I woke up two hours
later and my jaw hurt...I'd already begun grinding my teeth!! Then the tremors
began. The tremors and nausea are gone, but I keep finding my jaw clenched
tight and I feel like my brain is mush. I keep looking at things and feel like
I darted my eyes too fast and it hurts. This is just as bad as Paxil but
luckily I know I can stop tomorrow after only one day and it will all be gone.
I really am beginning to believe that 30 years from !
