SSRI Stories Page 20 I have been on Lexapro for approximately 2 weeks. I stopped taking it yesterday for several reasons. First of all, I feel like I have been in a coma for the last 2 weeks. I am so very tired and have to take a nap everyday. I also go to bed very early. I am experiencing very low sex drive if any at all and I have lost a lot of enthusiasm. Furthermore, I recently lost 20lbs and don't want to put it back on. Thank you all so much for sharing your stories. It has helped me realize I am not crazy... My 12 year old son was on Lexapro for about a month. After starting the 3 rd week on it. He became very hostile. Needless to say we wean him off. it's been about one month since he has stop taking it and he finally returning to normal again. I was prescribed 10 mg lexapro for anxiety and depression, going through divorce, mom had stroke, work, kids and these took me straight to the hospital with irregular heart beat...started taking lexapro, dr gave me 2 sample packages,7 pills ea. I took eight pills and stopped...I started noticing a lot of pimples...i never had more than the t zone...you know? no way, my face started to look like a teenager acne face.. that was it, i stopped taking it and I am glad i read about all these other peoples bad experiences...most of the time I felt I was in a daze...thanks for allowing me to read all these and to share my experience.. Now my face is clearing out...nice...thanks..
